A quiet Sunday waiting the special next one. ❤️

An happy Sunday to everyone here!
Today the weather seems to be in pause from rain and even if the sky is full of clouds and we can't see the Sun, it's a nice pause.
From my window I can see (and listen) a big magpie who seems not so happy, maybe he's "screaming" to a cat around. My furry friend is sleeping in a corner of my backyard, enjoying the warm air with no rain.

I don't have any new artworks to show you at now, because I have to finish some of them, but I took some pics as mood board to add to this content. ^_^

To be honest, I have also a wonderful news to share with you: the next weekend my daughter @noemilunastorta will get married! ❤️

Every mom (and every dad) can image the feeling, I don't have enough words to say how much I'm happy for my daughter and for her fiance. It's not a surprise, sure, because they live together since about 4 years and they started to talk about the wedding since 1 year, but now the countdown is started and we are all so excited!

It will be not a "traditional" wedding with white dress and Church, but it will be really a celebration of their love (sure, an official celebration in the Municipality :P ) with a awesome party! As a theme for the party they chose David Bowie and the glam rock style. I'm a big fan of Bowie since I was 14 years old, so you can image what I felt when they told me about the theme of their wedding!

I'm so excited, believe me. They are a beautiful couple, I love so much my daughter and I know her fiance is the right guy for her, cause he is really a good guy with a good heart.

As you can understand, the days before a wedding are days of anxiety for the bride, but, just to know, also the mom of the bride feel that anxiety. It's not because the uncertainties of the future, but because the "event". "There's a party to organize and everything have to go ok!", it's normal I think and so we have to quiet the anxiety. My way to quiet myself during these days is to paint (as usual) and gym. A lot of gym, that's useful to my old bones, to quiet my mind and to lose a little weight to stay comfortable in my dress for the day (I'll meet all the relatives of the fiance of my daughter, I want to be at my best. :D ).

Well, now I feel the need to put my gym shoes for some minutes, I wish you a nice, quiet Sunday to you all! ❤️
