A new "Thinking about home" (oil on paper)

Hello hivers,an happy Thursday to you all!
After a couple of day of rain storms, the Sun is shining on the sky and the birds came back to sing and fly around the branches of the plum tree in my backyard. There are a lot of white petals fallen down from my plum tree and they make me think about a large carpet. 😊
Yesterday inside our lab there was a lesson of the art class and so, while my hubby @paolobeneforti was teaching to the students (it's a group of nice adults) I worked on a artwork I started months ago. I pause it for a long time before to have the right idea to finish it and so soon I'll share it with you.

This morning, like I use to do every day, I woke up soon to work on my daily artwork on paper and you can see the final result of that piece in the following pics:

As you can see, the subject is one of my character with just simple lines to represent the face and a tiny scene about home on the head. I'd like to see how the ivory background could work with some blue leaves and I like the final result. 💙
