A new special cup (oil on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all! Another cold day here and I think it's snowing not so far from my city. When outside is so cold I feel myself very lucky because I can work inside my home with no need to go out. I remember when I worked as office employee and I lived around 30 minutes by car from there, the winter was not a simple season when the ice was along the streets. Yes, now I'm lucky, I know. 😁
This morning, as usual, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first hours of the day. During thse days, when I open my windows, the third thing I see in front of my eyes are a lot of beautiful robins and this helps me to start my day in a very positive mood.
Yesterday in the afternoon I started a new artwork and I just finished to paint it so I can show you the final result:
This is an artwork of the series about "special" cup with tiny scenes inside. After some similar one in a smaller size, I decided to paint it larger and so I did it.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A3 size and, like I use to do when I shhare a new piece with you, I took some pics while I was painting it so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

We have had some serious snow ( and our first snow ) on the land we bought last July in Molise, Italy.
It was hard at first as we live simple, in a casetta that isn't Winter proof and still needs lots of work. Living without a shower with only a small wood stove to heat us, as well as warm drinks and hot water bottles in bed
but it is also very beautiful and worth the experience.
Abbracci!
I can understand you, I lived in a small apartment (the building has 4 small apartment, but I was the only one who lived there in the winter) with a small wood stove and I also udes the hot water bottle and yes, even if it was hard, it was also a beautiful experience. I lived there for around 10 years before to meet my hubby who lived in the city. I remember that time with a little nostalgia, but I enjoy to live now in a more comfortable place (I'm not so young now 😁).
Abbracci to you too. ❤️
