A new painted journal (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
Yesterday I spent the late afternoon with the little twins, the 16 months old sons of the cousin of my hubby who live close to us (just 15 minutes by walk from us) and it was a very funny time. When I arrived at their home, both of them gave me a lot of hugs and kisses too, so we played together 8I felt myself like a little one 😆) with their toys, reading their books for children and playing to peek-a-booh (they love this game and they laugh a lot). In italian the name of this game is "cucù-settete" and now that they are trying to say some simple words is funny to listen them say something that sounds like a "uù-tte". 😁

Today I'm here to share with you the final result of a new handmade pocket journal I just finished to paint and sew:

Some of my recent painted pocket jornal found new owners days ago and so I decided to paint and sew some other new ones.
At first I painted the cover using my oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in and, after, I cut and sew the pages to create the journal.I took some pics while I was working on it on my small working table so you can see the process too:
