A new page of my sketchbook: the bird (acrylic and ink on paper)

An happy Sunday to you all!
Today here in my area is a warm, sunny day, even if there are some clouds on the sky. There are a lot of different birds flying around and we can smell the Springtime in the air.
Thinking about all those birds I can watch from my window, this morning I decided to exercise my hands and my minds painting a freaky funny bird with very large eyes.
I painted it on my small sketchbook using acrylic colors and the white ink (since one month it seems I can't stop to use the white ink to add details on my paintings ^_^ ) and you can see the final result of this exercise in the following pic:

As you can see, the main subject is a funny bird with large eyes and spots on the belly. It's a little different from my usual birds, but I like it and I really think to get out of our comfort zone could be an interesting way to learn something new. ^_^
It's a mixed media painting on 110 gsm paper page of one of my sketchbooks and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process too:

I hope you like it and, if you want, stay tuned to see other new pages of my sketchbook!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

This environment is vivid with the nature of the birds. Always charming. I always like that kind of nature
