A new page of my sketchbook (oil on paper)

Hello dear hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!

Another day, another page of my sketchbook full of exercises I did this morning!
This time I used the acrylic colors to study some trees and plants. I used just 3 colors (mixing them in different ways to create different shades of colors): a yellow, a blue and the white.

In the following pic you can see the fisinished page:

I left my hands free to work on the blank page, but I have a word in my mind: bosco. "Bosco" is the italian word for "woods" and, just to know, "silva" is the latin word for "woods". My name, as you know, is Silvia and it means "who lives in the woods!, so, as you can understand why I love to paint trees and plants. ^_^

I like to paint a lot of little things on the same page of my sketchbook, so I can understand how the colors and the shapes can work togheter. It's
also a nice way to fix some new ideas and so I try to exercise my hands and my mind) in this way every time I can.
Like I use to do, I took some pics while I was using my brushes on the page so you can see the process too:
