A new handmade pocket journal (linocut)

Hello hivers, an happy Christmas Eve to you all!
Tomorrow me and my hubby @paolobeneforti will have a very busy day between our relatives eating good food, drinking and exchanging gifts. The great lunch with the relatives of my hubby and after with my mom. About my daughter and her husband, we will meet us during the next days, in a more comfortable way because, like me, she will spend the Christmas lunch with the relatives of her hubby. ❤️

I just finished to wrap the gifts and soon I have to start to cook something for the lunch of tomorrow (each one cook something, so nobody will be too tired to enjoy that day). I'll cook "melanzane alla parmigiana" (parmisan eggplants) and I'm pretty sure our relative will be happy about it. 😁
Now I'm here to share with you the final result of a new pocket journal I handmade by my hand using the lino block I carved a couple of days ago:

A couple of months ago I carved a similar lino block, but larger than this, to create handmade prints to add to my shop. In this case I had the idea to work on a smaller one to create some greetings cards and also pocket journals like the one you see in the pics.

As usual, I took some pics while I was making this journal so you can see the process too:

Instead of the usual ink I use for my handmade prints, this time I use a simple (and fast) ink pad.

After I printed by hands (and a spoon) the cover, I cut the paper for the pages and I sewed them:
