A funny, humor contest about lies in a small village!
Hello hivers, an happy Tuesday to you all!
Today here in my area it's a sunny, hot day of August and, as I promised before, I'm here to share with you some pics I took on Saturday when I was in a small village on the hill close to my city.
The name of the village is Le Piastre and it's known in my country because every year there is a very special (and funny) contest: the Italian Lying Championship, created in the 1966 by Giancarlo Corsini!
Every year a lot of people from different parts of Italy come to Le Piastre for the Festival, trying to win it and to become the "best liar" of the year. 😁
For the event the entire village become a sort of "liar village" and different funny false signs are on the house and along the alleys.
This year there was also a contest for illustrator all over the world who sent their images about "school" (sure, about school and lies 😁 ). Along the alleys of the village we watched those printed images and I took some pics about them to share with you, but first, a couple of pics to show you the beauty of this small village:

What do you think about a (false, don't worry) kindergarten titled "Hannibal Lecter" or "Freddy Krueger"? Just to know, the sign say it's just for brave children. 😁
The following one say to pay attention to the "nebbia a cattedre" (literally means "fog at teacher desk"). This is not simple to understand if you are not italian, but in my mother language the word for (fog) bank and student desk is the same: banco. 😊
Well, now I have to run to finish a new painting (and this is not a lie 🤣 ).
