A freaky pomegranate (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all! The weekend is just around the corner and I'm pretty sure we'll have a sunny warm weekend here in my area, so I could clean my backyard that now has a sort of red carpet thanks the leaves fallen down from my plum tree. 😊

This morning, after I gave food to my furry friends Nanny and Bimba and after my first cup of coffee, I placed my small working table close to the open window and I thought to start my day painting something simple just to exercise my hands and my imagination.
In a corner of my lab I found some scraps of brown paper I collected months ago and I decided to use my oil colors on it.
In the following pics, you can see the final result of my daily painting (better to say my daily exercise 😊):

As you can see, the main subject is a sort of freaky pomegranate with a tiny black body and large eyes. I have so much fun to imagine fruits and other things in form of tiny human figures and painting it I felt myself like a little child who is ready a fairy tails. ❤️
