A freaky duck (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! I hope you are spending a nice weekend. ❤️

Today here it's another cold day, but fortunately the Sun gave us a couple of hours of brilliant light and warm rays, so I spent that time cleaning my backyard and enjoying to stay outside while my furry friends was playing around.

Yesterday me and my hubby went to an interesting event inside the public library, where we met some writers who are also friends of us. It was a nice afternoon spent talking about funny books and artists of the past in a very good company and I will tell you more about this event on one of my next content, promise! 😊
Now I'm here because I want to share with you a small artwork I painted this morning:

As you can see, the subject of this painting is a sweet little duck (in my own illustrative style) between some plants.
It's an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size (the size of a common postal card) and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painting it on my small working table so you can see the process too:

Soon I'll add this new artwork to my etsy shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!
