“Liz, I’m going “Outside”……..😅
I lit a fire in the wood stove early in the day, and Cot “ assumed the position”! 😺 My furry child definitely loves a nice warm fire!😻
Two pairs of “Waterproof” hiking boots sat by the wood stove drying………
In the Pacific Northwest, you always need backups of everything Lol!😅😇
“It’s a good thing Liz, that I have THREE pairs of “Waterproof” boots Lol!”🤣
Silvertop was having a bit of “Cabin Fever” today…………
Hiking in a cold downpour wasn’t in the plans!🙄
I grabbed my raincoat, and my Fiskers X27 splitting ax, and headed up to my firewood stack………
I can always split firewood rain or shine, and it’s like “Stacking Bitcoin Sat’s”………money in the bank!😇
In between rainstorms, the hay farmers in the valley have been busy cutting and “Round bailing” hay.
I’m not sure how dry these bales are going to be………🙄
One friend of Silvertop’s at Church, is in charge of the water irrigation of hundreds of acres of blueberry bush fields……..
“Silvertop, I shut off all the irrigation last night, because of all the recent rains!”
After thirty minutes splitting firewood, I was ready to join Cot inside Lol😅
“Cot, have you been adding wood to the fire my boy, it feels nice and toasty!”😊
Days like this, is one of the main reasons we have a wood stove!🤗
“Scoot over son, Dad’s done with playing out in the rain for today!”……..😻
“Toss another log on the fire my boy, Dad’s making LOTS more!😇
