You'll ❤️ THIS Lemon Chicken

For this recipe, I used deboned chicken thighs, which I cut into strips. Then, using a paper towel, I pat-dried the chicken.

Put the chicken in a mixing bowl. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon on the chicken pieces, then season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian Seasoning (or parsley, if you don't care for Italian Seasoning; I used both), salt, and black pepper.

Transfer the seasoned chicken to the air fryer. Set the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes. If you don't have an air fryer, then fry the chicken in a pan with a little oil only; do not deep fat fry!

After 10 minutes, turn the chicken to the other side. Then air fry for another 10 minutes.

In the meantime, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the microwave. When done, add 1 tablespoon of avocado oil or any cooking oil.

Then add the other half of the lemon to the melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, ground black pepper, and parsley flakes, and set aside.

When the chicken is done, mix the chicken with the lemon butter seasoning. Blend very well.

Then serve with your favorite sides!

Thank you for sharing this recipe @silversaver888! I'm an airfryer noob, been happy with most dishes but not with chicken, even though everyone raves about theirs. I only cook for 2 now, so the tray is too sparse even though I add potato wedges. I think I don't season the pieces enough, drums especially dry. Will try this method with deboned thighs. I cooked a whole chicken in it, only once. I prefer roasting in the oven as it cooks all round. Otherwise, very happy with my airfryer, great timesaver!

I cook for one! But I always cook two portions.
Temperature and cooking time... sometimes you just have to play with it, and get used to your air fryer. It sure is a great timesaver.

Looks pretty delicious! We don't really have thighs much because my wife doesn't like dark meat. We've grown accustomed to moving most stuff to white meat and the dryness doesn't really bug either of us as much.

I eat the entire chicken, !LOL. And other people don't eat chicken at all, @bozz.
But there are hundreds of dishes that use chicken breast. I will share them here, although I am pretty sure you know them already!
