So yeah. The sun pulled a stunt! It came in loud with no warning... like it forgot that we were growing things out here.'
My rose tree? It got roasted. Again!
The petals are curled like secrets, and the edges are crisp like pie crust left too long.
Me? I didn't flinch. I grabbed the shears and snipped the sadness. Then I gave the roots a drink deep enough to reach memory. I put mulch down like a hug and tossed it like a shawl. Then I whispered... "You're still my bloom, you're still my story."
I think it heard me! Because a few days later- new buds... brave like little fists punching through grief.
This garden? It's not just flowers. It's comeback energy. It's love with dirt under its nails.
And me? I'm not just tending. I'm testifying.
Because anything that's ever been loved can rise again.
Even roses.
Even me.
Even you.

Sooo beautiful. I have seen this in our plant nursery, but when I planted them at home they did not grow. My manure is starch, tea leaves and onion peels. This one from my garden.

Well......my rose was eaten by a deer! It is trying to grow again, but I'm not sure about whether nor not it will bloom. I need to run a fence around it that will keep them away from it.
