Wednesday Walk in the Hospital

I had to make a trip to the hospital, and even though the whole thing had me feeling tense and a little tired, something made me pause as I was leaving the building.

The trees outside were in full bloom... everything was bursting with color. And when I needed it most.

It was one of those moments where you’re stressed, rushing, thinking about a dozen things, and then suddenly you’re just… still.

I let myself look. Really look. The branches were covered in soft petals, some drifting down with the breeze, some catching the sunlight. It was simple, but it was beautiful.

I didn’t plan to slow down, but the blooms made it impossible not to. For a few minutes, the hospital, the stress, the noise... all of it faded into the background.

Seeing those pink petals scattered around the walkway felt like a tiny gift.

So yes, I went to the hospital. Yes, I was stressed. But I also walked through a little pocket of spring that made the day feel lighter.

Or is it the medication I took?

Those are some beautiful trees. I have some white ones outside my office, but they won't be blooming for a bit yet. They smell so bad when they finally do, but they look so pretty!

What tree with white flowers is this? The second-to-the-last photo shows a tree with white flowers. But they smell sweet!

I'll see if I can find something. The closest I can say without getting gross is the smell reminds me of a cross between bleach and fish.

I do hope your hospital visit came out okay.

The freeways of California are lined with flowers, oleander bushes that have overgrown, but are absolutely beautiful! Pinks, whites, reds...

Nope-not the medication! Nature is a natural stress reliever and where better to view God's handiwork, than in nature! Peace is hard to come by nowadays, but His peace is always available. We just need to seek Him to receive!

Flower in spring are very beautiful in color. Flowers can reduce stress and flower are a symbol of affection. The picture you took is perfect. Happy days.
