Wednesday Walk and Hot Pepper Jelly in Everything!

Avocado toast with eggs. That is a top-notch breakfast by my book!

I usually start with a thick slice of Artesano bread. Or a slice of homemade sourdough, but for this, I really prefer the soft Artesano bread, which I have not taken the time to replicate yet!

I toast it just enough to get golden. Then I smooth some butter over the top.

Then I lay slices of avocado across the bread. It is creamy and savory... and quite so satisfying!

Eggs go on next! I cook it to perfection. What is that? Sunny-side up with edges crackly and golden, with the yolk still runny! That crispy edge adds a little texture that pairs so well with the creamy avocado!

The GAME CHANGER: Hot Pepper Jelly on top!

The richness of the avocado. The soft yolk from a sunny-side egg with crispy edges. And then, that right balance of heat and sweetness from the jelly.

The jelly melts into the warm egg and avocado, creating a flavor that is hard to describe and impossible to forget! It's a little spicy, a little sweet, a little creamy, a little cozy... totally addictive!!!

I regularly have bananas, avocados, apples, and grapes. It is easier to eat healthy with some fruits for quick snacks.
