The other day, @thebighigg wrote about the Silver Stallions from the Colorado River.
I commented about how I like the round.
Well, @thebighigg, I found my round, and here it is!
Vintage Historic Colorado Mining American Wildlife Series
I got the round in BU condition with some toning... and look at it now. It is ruined!!!
However, you can still see that the obverse shows a prospector and a mule, and the background is the Rocky Mountains!
The reverse of the round is the iconic fighting stallions. The prospector motif suggests the Gold Rush era, while the wildlife designs evoke Colorado's natural beauty
The Historic Colorado Mining produced various rounds. These rounds were commemorative rounds which typically feature iconic imagery from the state's mining past, like the American Wildlife Series and the Colorado Mines Collector Series.

Horses, I used to like them more. After being kicked, I want to stay away. Some are treacherous. It's a shame it's not perfect; this image of the gold rush with the man and the mule is really cool. It also reminds me a bit of northeastern Brazil; the mule was a widely used animal in the past. It served to carry water and items that contributed to human life in difficult regions.
I've always liked horses since I was a child, and I still like them, @josiva. We were taught not to stand behind anywhere where you can be kicked (or bitten) by a (frightened) horse !LOL
I live in a farming town, and horses are a common sight!

I used to ride horses in the past, but something scared one of them, and it kicked everywhere. After that, I've avoided it. It's not a trauma; I just gave up the hobby.
Horseback riding is amazing, but it's not something I look forward to anymore.

It started with an iridescent toning. But when I opened the box, it had 2 spots. It is primarily caused by chemical reactions with the environment. I think I forgot to transfer it to a coin capsule and I suspect that the plastic sleeve had something to do with it... or maybe not, !LOL

The designs of the silver coins are becoming much more interesting and I am also liking all the designs.
Some coins and rounds are ornately designed. This is not one of them, !LOL

It is a shame that the toning is dark there in the center, but it's still a nice round. I remember Colorado! It's even more beautiful in person, and you absolutely have to at least try panning for gold. It's cold, hard work; I'm not sure how the old prospectors were able to do it for so long. I don't recall seeing any of this company's silver products before. Another vintage score especially for those who love horses.
I've only rode a horse a few times with friends on planned outings for an hour or so. I can't imagine being on a horse for more than that without feeling a bit saddle sore.
