Sublime Sunday and SILVER DOLLARS

In the US, silver dollars are the most often collected coin. The Morgan Dollar and Peace Dollar sets, with their wide range of dates and rarities, are among the most challenging yet gratifying sets to complete in the history of American coinage.

Upon its introduction in 1878, the Morgan Silver Dollar was welcomed with open arms by American residents, who hailed it as the finest and most exquisite design among all the Silver Dollars.

The Peace Dollar took its place in 1904 after this coin's production ended, but because to its great popularity, the Morgan design was revived in 1921 for a single year. Currently, some of the most sought-after coins to collect are Morgan Silver Dollars with dates of 1921.

Peace Dollars, which are regarded as one of the most well-known pieces of US currency, were produced between 1921 and 1935. This series, which is well-liked by investors and collectors alike, is noteworthy since it was the final US dollar coin made of silver that was meant for general circulation. Additionally, until the U.S. Mint started producing the Eisenhower Dollar in 1971, it was the last series of dollar denomination coins to be produced full-time in more than 35 years.

In American coinage, the Morgan and Peace dollars were both significant. The two most sought-after US coins are the Morgan and Peace silver dollars. Because of their design, significance in history, and the culture in which the U.S. Mint released them, these coins are very well-liked.

I completed the Peace Dollars first, and I can only attempt to complete the Morgan, but that is next to impossible, hahaha!😇🤣

Nice article, don't really have much to say about the morgan and peace silver, other than just encouraging investors to stack them up for emergencies.

Checking my notes; I have 7 Peace dollars and 9 Morgan Dollars, all passed on to me from my father. I don't know why he got them, I'm just very glad he did.
