Sublime Sunday and Rosette Succulents

I think one of the big reasons succulents are so popular is that many varieties look like flowers.

Rosette succulents are a type of succulent that grows in a circular, flower-like pattern. They look like roses or other blooms, which is what makes them so appealing. You'll find them in all sorts of colors and textures, from bright greens to deep purples, and some even have fuzzy or spiky leaves.

Instead of waiting months or years for traditional plants to bloom for just weeks, succulent lovers can enjoy flower-like beauty all year round. Rosette succulents are a hit with wedding planners and DIY enthusiasts, starring in bouquets and various succulent projects.

Echeveria is a fascinating succulent with its densely packed leaves that have pointed, thorny tips curving upwards. Cat's Claw is what it is called sometimes. The rosettes can grow up to 4 inches in diameter and during spring, it produces beautiful coral-colored flowers on tall, thin stems.

Aeoniums are stunning rosette succulents! Their vibrant colors and unique shapes make them stand out. They’re not only beautiful but also quite easy to care for, making them a favorite among succulent enthusiasts.

The Rose Aeonium is one of the most unique rosette succulents with its long stems. It has these glossy, flat, rounded dark purple leaves with greenish-yellow centers that look like a rosette. The rosettes grow on top of woody, light brown stems that can get 2-3 feet tall. It's definitely a standout in any succulent collection!

Succulents and cactus all around the garden, love the texture of leaves on succulents. Vibrant colours on some varieties, stunning flowers. Best part is, no maintenance in sub-tropical region I live.

My absolute favourite "Kalanchoe tomentosa is more popularly known as the Panda plant. This fluffy succulent plant is a hardy perennial succulent. Kalanchoe tomentosa means 'covered with fine hair.' They are quite elegant plants, I have rarely had the opportunity to see them up close. I think the last time was at a wedding I attended quite some time ago.
