I'm glad you like the look of these coins! Starting a coin collection is such an exciting journey.😊 A good place to start is deciding on a theme or type of coin you’re most interested in – for example, ship coins, historical coins, or even those with unique designs. From there, you can do some research on reputable dealers or coin shops.
Now, if you are thinking of stacking silver (or gold) that's another animal altogether (but with some similarities).

I think its the worry of coming across a not so reputable dealer that is my problem, i do like the idea of collecting along a theme though.

I hear you, @doombot75! Navigating the world of collecting can definitely be daunting, especially with concerns about reputable dealers. One thing that can help is starting with well-known and trusted platforms or dealers to build confidence in your purchases. When it comes to collecting along a theme, it really does add a special touch to your collection, making it more cohesive and rewarding. What's a theme you are interested in?

I had seen a few silver coins at a recent visit to an antique dealer, I was drawn to a few with Pandas on but I’m not sure that would lead to a large collection, but I would probably look towards animals of some description as a starter

Those panda coins sound adorable! 🐼 Starting a collection with animal-themed coins is a fantastic idea. There are so many interesting and beautifully designed coins out there featuring all kinds of creatures. Start with the animal/s you are most drawn to, and you cannot go wrong! I love animals too!!!
