I caught a Shadow on Wednesday Walk

Walking through the garden I caught some shadows! It reminded me of a poem that goes like this...

In the silent hush they slide,
Whispers of a world beside,
Darkened patterns on the floor,
Quiet secrets, nothing more.

Fleeting memories they trace,
Mirroring a hidden face,
Moving with a dancer’s grace,
In life’s ever-spinning mace.

Every sunbeam’s gentle touch,
Creates shadows, dark and such,
Yet within their subtle rush,
Lies a world, so soft and hush.

The fleeting quality of shadows moves and changes softly beside us. Shadows stand for the more contemplative and subdued, and it can be very meaningful.

I copied this poem onto my notebook more than two years ago, but failed to write down the title or the author. Perhaps it was anonymously written? I don't remember.

The poem above is certainly not mine. I think the title of the poem is the first phrase of the poem, or the second phrase which is "Whisper of the World".

No... Its the mexican sunflower in the Avatar. But I do have different colours of hibiscus in my garden.

Yes, its the same. Just for a day they remain afresh. Most often, shoeflower blooms here. But now its rainy season. So no shoe flower. This is my last week's flower sandal colour with two round of petals.

Sunny months like this, it's beautiful out here in this tiny patch of concrete garden. Alas, I can only see it on weekends or on my days off, @thebighigg !

Work is one of those thing we all have to do unfortunately... lol

I've been a little less active the last few days, I slipped and hurt my back so sitting at the computer for more than a few minutes at a time is not a lot of fun. I'm OK, bruised my ego more than anything!

Yes, a lot of shadow poems are dark and scary... why is that? Shadows are happy and cheerful. I guess it's how you look at it.
