After being under the weather for some days, I think I am all mended and ready to go back to work tomorrow (and a short vacation next week, lol).

Let's talk a little about gold.

People have talked about gold throughout history in addition to admiring and collecting it. Almost all of history's great personalities have expressed their opinions on the matter. Economists, politicians, philosophers, poets, humorists, and others have contributed insightful thoughts about gold.

And with all the discussion have emerged some pearls of wisdom, so to speak. There are old as gold sayings regarding the real worth of gold in society, as well as proverbs, metaphors, and thoughts by politicians who have attempted to adapt the same power that gold possesses to other spheres of life.

Economists, bankers, and investors share their insights about gold.

The history of the world is, after all, the history of gold.
