Dear @sirfx... I'm excited that you want to start saving in gold and silver. May I know where you are: US? Canada? Australia? Germany? Italy? Japan? Anyone can start saving in precious metals. In fact, as soon as you have the money for it, go and buy yourself one piece of silver coin from your country to keep your motivation up. In the meantime, you have to sit down, work out your budget, and determine how much fiat currency you can spare (after paying your debts and expenses) and want to spend on real money.

You're paying some premium for Mene 24K gold and platinum. But you can buy just a piece, or slowly add a piece by piece of gold or platinum... plus, it is wearable. I use mine almost every day, @fat-elvis!!!
