My yellow-colored calla lilies are blooming now.

Beside it is the red canna lily,
and is likewise flowering.

Cannas have are large, banana-like leaves.
They are tropical flowering plants.

This is how my hibiscus is today.
Tomorrow, it will bloom again!

But before this, it had a single flower, then two, and four, then six... but not at the same time.

I have some potted peppers in this side yard as well.
Do you notice the fruits?
These are Thai Chilies!

This is a Calamansi Tree. It's a type of citrus plant. I saw it in one of my trips to the nursery, so I bought it. I have tasted the calamasi fruit. You drink its juice and it is so mild tasting.

I will replant when it has stabilized, I will replant it in the front of the house.

Let us go to the backyard,
and check out the plants there.

First, the red onions.
Can you see the bulb peeking from underneath the soil, lol.

Next, the tomatoes.
They are not be best varieties.

And now a poem I learned in first grade!

In the garden,
Pull the weeds.
Dig a hole,
Plant the seeds.

Cover them up,
Water them too.
Watch them grow,
In front of you!

Make sure the sprout,
Gets lots of sun.
To grow a plant,
Is lots of fun!

... plus my indoor plants, @silvertop. If you recall, I have a house full of little plants! I tried to get away from having plants, but I guess they are not stopping me, !LOL. Thank goodness, there is a break during the cold months.

I think plants not only beautify the home, but I think they have a calming effect on people.

Beautiful flowers and garden. Tomatoes look like they are really coming along. We didn't put out our mini-garden this year, maybe next. However, we do have flowers out and it is on my to-do list for me to snap some shots and share.

Gardening is so much more than sticking something in some dirt, It's an art, a science, and a part of our spiritual being. I wish I had a better and longer growing season.

My indoor plants are year-round; most of what I have in the side yard is year-round; only the plants in the backyard are from spring to autumn.
They keep me busy, and much of my thinking (and talking to myself and the plants) happens when I am tending to the plants, !LOL

Your garden is looking awesome! The flowers blooming (love the yellow lily btw). It's awesome that you are successful at growing onions. Mine never had any bulb, lol! Your cherry tomatoes are so ready to get picked 😍

You know the canna lily was in a very tiny pot and was inside the house several years ago. And my elephant ears, too. I did not take a photo of it, but it is huge, !LOL. I have a very tiny garden in my house, unlike my first home.

Don't be frustrated, sis! Keep on trying!
Growing a garden can be challenging at times... and sometimes the weather can get in the way. But you are fostering life, and always there is joy in the small things, sis. Have you tried talking to your plants, !LOL

It's been too wet to sit with them with all the rain we've had and now I'm at work and it's next to impossible, lol! Hopefully, this weekend will cool down a bit and maybe I'll get the time to then. Love ya back sis!🤗😘😍💕🌸 !LADY !PIMP

The sun is good for most plants! It gets very hot here during the peak of summer. The sun burns my roses !LOL
