Copper Hand Pour: Niles

Budget-conscious stackers would do well with copper. There will always be a market for copper.

Despite being one of the most dependable and valuable minerals, copper is a unique precious metal that investors generally ignore. Due to its industrial and commercial value, copper bullion has a specific value on the international market. Investing in copper, whether it's through copper rounds or bars, is a low-risk option that offers investors outstanding returns. 1

Nile, 2 troy oz .999 Copper

A pretty pour!

We can guard against inflation on our investments in precious metals by diversifying our holdings. Diversification helps strengthen and protect your portfolio from the market. Generally speaking, most experts concur that investing in multiple metals is a smart move.

The demand for copper has surpassed the supply of copper in recent times. Compared to other metals, the price of this red metal is rising at the fastest rate. Although copper is less expensive than gold and silver, which makes it a low-risk investment, its value will probably rise over time as its demand grows.

@buggedout recently showed us a chart of silver and copper. You can check it out HERE. It shows a really spectacular rally of copper! He further concludes that "Copper and Silver are moving almost in tandem, which suggests to me that the recent rally in both these metals is less about Safe Haven and Monetary Metal demand and more about Inflation and Commodity demand." Chew on that!

Copper may be melted down and formed into bars, coins, and ingots just like other precious metals. Copper bars are available in a range of sizes and are often coined to high levels of purity. Generally speaking, the smaller bars are one ounce in size. Mints also generate 10-pound plus huge copper bars.

The US Mint controversially decided to switch from using copper to zinc for its coins in 1982. There are still private mints and precious metal dealers to provide investors with premium copper bullion. Some buy scrap copper, which is utilized by various producers. But I would buy pure, premium copper bullion.

Why do I buy copper?

For whatever reason, there are those who become seriously involved in collecting all the various designs; perhaps they just enjoy collecting them because they are appealing? Some collectors believe that copper is the final frontier and that if you buy now, you will get the best deal when prices rise the following day. Is it silly? It's not for me to answer, and I don't know. However, I will state that it is none of my concern whether or not you want to collect them.

I do buy copper.

I do have a few copper rounds but the bulk of my 33+ pound copper stack is in the form of old copper 1 Cents and US Pennies collected over decades in large family change jars.

Always, with love 🤗🌺❤️

Oh yeah!!! I forgot to show my collection of pre-1982 pennies! They are different in color from the pennies of recent years. You would think they would be shinier. Then again, it may be because they are old and circulated, !LOL. Here, I have a photo in my files:

Is it true that copper has antimicrobial properties? I got a copper water bottle a few months ago - I noticed that the interior was always shiny and pristine, which I would not expect from raw copper as it typically oxidizes quite rapidly. So I attached a wire brush to a drill and reamed the whole bottle out real good - now my water has a uniquely coppery flavor which I've grown to love - so whether it works or not, I definitely am sticking with copper drinking vessels!

...what does that command do, if you don't mind my asking?

It reminds me of this one silver piece depicting a Viking ship. This one is antiqued!

It would be prudent to buy Bitcoin at this time as its price may increase significantly in the near future.

I sold my all my Bitcoin on March 13 when it was $72k! I was in pins and needles. I think I will take a break from that, !LOL

I like them all. The dragonfly in particular has a unique quality.

The copper has a nice colour and goes well with ALL those designs.

Glimpse of the Beach is the title of that special art pours by @dixiesilverminer. The shell came with the 999 fine silver crab. And it came with a glass tray, sand, and an extra real shell!

Yes, it is! When we can't afford a design in silver or gold, it is helpful that there is copper!

I have 2 of the Spartan copper rounds that I got in a package deal from buying silver.
I have considered copper before but I have not really looked into it.
Not sure that I have ever seen hand poured copper before, I imagine it would be a good less expensive option to get some practice before trying some of the more expensive metals.

I think it is a great idea to buy the copper counterparts of some silver, collect them, and then sell them as a set. Hmmm... that is an idea! I will look into that one. Hahaha

I also have a few copper pieces and I really love the colour on them. Silver still is my favourite... Somehow, gold just doesn't do it for me.. But it is precious!

I got that same Bitcoin round in copper! Got a few dozen or so. I don’t think copper rounds are a good investment but there fun collectibles.
