A Walk Around the House

You can tell that autumn is approaching when the leaves begin to change color and the temperature begins to drop. It is the best time of year for certain people.

It's without a doubt my favorite season of the year.

I have to replace the wreath on three doors. Any suggestions?

Thy wreath is made of brilliant blossoms.
Even though I've twined every link, there is still one more flower I need to include: the delicate mignonette.1

There's something nice and comforting about the new beginnings, the lovely leaves, and the crisp, clean air. I adore the chance the season presents for me to rediscover who I am and get more in sync with the natural world and everything around me.

The question I get most about orchids is how often I water them. I water my orchids in the mornings, about once a week.

I place them in the sink and use tepid water. I let the water run through for a minute or so and let the orchid drain completely.

Transitioning to fall can be difficult if you're like me. I hate to say goodbye to the pleasant weather since I enjoy summer.

I certainly will miss the shadows of summer!

I'll probably set aside some time to organize and declutter my home. Get rid of everything I don't need anymore and store any summer items I won't be utilizing.

This early, I will put up my home decor for Halloween.

I like to decorate my home for fall with fragrant candles, warm blankets, and other items that make me think of the season.

My daily schedule, including how I spend my mornings, how much sleep I get, and my seasonal hobbies, tend to change with the seasons.

What is unchangeable is the way I stack. Perhaps I'll tweak it a bit to make small adjustments to fine-tune it. Maybe add a little more dollar to accommodate another piece of silver.

It's important to establish a fall routine that suits your needs, your obligations, and your schedule.

I love your decor and the orchid is beautiful. My first orchid lost its flowers and I wonder when it will bloom again. I water once a week, too. The instructions were told to add three ice cubes once a week. It's a small pot. I guess I better look into it some more.

My experience with watering orchids is that it doesn't matter the size of the pot. Let the water run through for a minute.
Our group is small, and I think we are all special... thus the shoutout. I think I'll do it regularly, hehehe!

As you well know, the fall is my favorite season as well. The smell of wood smoke from chimneys, apple spice, candles; the forest, it's all amazing!

Enjoy autumn! I just brought my orchid in from the porch last night. The nights have been getting cooler and I hope that convinces my orchid that it's time to bloom. After 4 years with no flowers, it's time!

That should do the trick!!! Sometimes you have to try everything.

Orchids naturally start reblooming in cooler weather, so the fall or early winter is the perfect time. By this time, your orchid has rested up enough and it's time to trigger a rebloom

The wreath is very colorful and looks beautiful. The orchid is simply wonderful. It looks perfect in full bloom, that I initially thought it was fake/plastic.
