2025 Intaglio Mint U.S. Army 250th Anniversary
Two months ago, I featured the U.S. Army Medal by the U.S. Mint, a fitting tribute to honor our beloved U.S. Army.
Intaglio Mint has also produced a silver round as part of the Founding Forces of the Republic series.
2025 Intaglio Mint U.S. Army 250th Anniversary
The commemorative silver is made of 99.9 % fine silver and is to honor the enduring legacy of the United States Army, the nation’s first and oldest fighting force. From its birth in the Revolutionary War to its role as a cornerstone of American defense and freedom, the Army’s history is one of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering duty.
The obverse: a Continental soldier of the Revolution, musket in hand, framed by encampments and flags of liberty. The inscriptions read U.S. ARMY, 1775–2025, and 250 YEARS OF SERVICE.
The reverse bears the proud American eagle, shield to breast, talons gripping arrows and olive branch beneath the national motto E Pluribus Unum. The surrounding legend proclaims FOUNDING FORCES OF THE REPUBLIC, honoring the Army’s place in safeguarding the nation since its inception.
Before we even had a country, we had an army. 250 years later, we have the most powerful Army in the world... an undying passion, guts, and love for our country remains deep in the heart of today's Army. God bless the United States Army and God bless America.

Wow, I'm a little more than a half hour into the almost three hour parade video. 12:40 am now. I wished our Canadian government treated our military better. A third of Canadian military families depend on the food bank, under paid and sadly living in poverty, neglected by both liberal and Conservative governments. More than half of their equipment are old and obsolete. Thank God, Trump shamed Prime Minister Trudeau to give the enlisted a big meaningful raise.
