2010 Great Britain Silver Britannia BU
The obverse features Elizabeth II in her fourth portrait as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. She is wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara.
About the tiara
It is among the most iconic of all royal tiaras and one that denoted the beginning of a new reign. The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara was worn frequently throughout her historic reign by Queen Elizabeth II. Her Late Majesty chose it for the first portraits of her record breaking tenure. This all diamond tiara began life, as did so many pieces used by the modern Royal Family, with Queen Mary. This gem came to her as a wedding present.
Princess Mary of Teck married the future George V in 1893. Her husband to be was second in line to the throne and his bride was showered with gems as their wedding presents arrived. Among her gifts was this tiara which would go on to become so important in the history of the House of Windsor. Source
On the reverse of the coin, Britannia is wearing (not a tiara, lol) but a helmet ... in a lion design. The English lion has been used in heraldry since the middle ages. I like her hair flowing (which shows some softness) in this rendition by engraver Suzie Zamit.

Obverse: Displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, along with the face value of 2 pounds.
Reverse: Portrays the iconic Britannia as a symbol of eternal struggle. Her helmet, modeled in the Corinthian style, exudes the military strength of Britannia, while the olive branch signifies her peaceful nature.
Sovereign coin backed by the British government.

There were 129,086 of these Britannias. They were minted and struck in 32.45 grams of .952 silver, meaning that these coins are 1 troy ounce of pure silver (31.10 grams).
Although the Britannias shown are recent coins, it is difficult to find them at reasonable prices.

The evolution of the design is very detailed and artistic. The coin has so much details and curves. The details are not vivid but very clear sculpture. Interesting!
Some of these silver pieces have appreciated so much, I'm afraid I may not collect them all, !LOL
