1958 Italy Silver 500 Lira
@silverd510 showed us a coin from Italy a few days ago. And I would like to show mine as well.
It was marketed as BU silver coin.
1958 Italy 500 Lira
Although there was a trial strike with caravelle upwind flags the year before, this coin is a first-year issue.
The reverse features Italy, encircled by nineteen shields of the capitals of the Italian regions. Italy is represented by a woman in Renaissance attire.
The older coins of Italy are lovely!
It is for this reason that whenever I come across them in the secondary market offered at a reasonable price, I would get them.
Like these coins of the Cardinal Virtues: fortitude, prudence, justice, and temperance.
