1945 Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollar
Pictured below are the half-dollar coins of the United States of America. They are all beautiful, but if I were to pick the best design, it would be the rendition of the full figure of Lady Liberty strolling in the direction of the sun, her left arm holding a bunch of branches, and her right arm outstretched, all the while sporting a starry cape behind her. The Walking Liberty Half Dollar design was by sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, that seems to have been influenced by the motif of Saint-Gaudens famous Double Eagle in 1907.
@coinjoe featured the Walking Liberty recently. It's interesting to see someone discover the beauty of the coin as he pointed to the Walking Liberty's significance.

The design of the Walking Liberty represents our love for freedom and progress as Liberty walks towards the sun: a positive reflection of the promise of the new day, which we Americans unwaveringly believe.
As a nation, we have military strength, our people are dedicated to the common welfare and public spirit, and we are lovers of peace. This is shown in the flag draped on Liberty's shoulders and the branches of laurel which she's holding.
It is so appropriate that this design was chosen for the bullion coin of the United States of America—the American Silver Eagle.
Imagine an eagle that is standing erect with wings that are spread, almost ready to take flight!
LOL, before I get carried away by my patriotism, the coin I am showing today is a 1945 PCGS MS64 Walking Liberty.
Someday, I will be able to afford a higher grade of the Walking Liberty!

I think I might have to agree with you sis!
You know; a few years ago, we had gotten some rolls of half dollars and after sorting through them, went to the store and purchased some goods we needed. We paid for part of it with some of the half dollars, and believe it or not, we had to tell the cashier what the coin was and how much it was worth! What's more, she was not a spring chicken......she was a coworker of sorts at the store I worked at and was pushing 50 years of age at the time! I was almost speechless!
