"Class, in today's lesson, we will learn about bonding in chemistry" announced Mr Jones.

The key basic concept for bonding is that there are strong and weak bonds like ionic bond and hydrogen bonding respectively.

Despite the difference in bond strength, but their goal is the same, to achieve stability, else we would probably not know life form as it is today.

This aspect of strong and weak bond would likely be the idea that popped up in their mind when you talk to students or chemistry related folks.

But if you talk to company executive or business major, their interpretation of bond would likely be that of a contract between the employer and employee, where the company provides monetary support usually in studies or research to an employee in exchange for a specific tenure of committed employment with other terms and conditions.

A strong bond is one that has the company with greater advantage and makes it very costly for the employee to break while a weak bond might not hold the employee back to contribute after enjoying the benefits.

Of course we can also explore the bonds between people, a weak bond between 2 individual is formed when they first know each other then it strengthen over time with more favorable and pleasant interaction and strong bond will be needed to hold friendship for many good years.
