A referee as most of us know, is a netural person in a game of 2 competing opponents in a sport of game that does not participate in the game but to uphold the rule and execute rewards or penalties to ensure the final score of the game is a fair, open and transparent result.
That presents us with an interesting prompt today, in the game of life, who shall be the referee, since each individual is unique and different with understanding and needs and wants in life. Who can be the fair and just person?

The first answer I had in my mind was rather direct, since most countries we live in today are govern by the rule of law, and in the eye of the rule of law, A judge is task with the duty of ruling, that makes him/her the referee and their decision is life altering to one's life game. One would end up in court due to life's decision.

In a courtroom, one would face 2 opponents regarding him/her, the prosecution team and his/her own defense team. after the full process of the law, the judge would take a decision, some with the recommendation of a jury that is fair and just after hearing all evidence and arguments from both side.

So do you agree a judge is the referee in the game of life based on my submission above?
