To enhance user monetization, Telegram has introduced Ad Purchases powered by Toncoin
As part of its most recent user monetization update, Telegram has announced a new tool that lets users buy in-platform adverts with Toncoin. According to the change, each owner of a public Telegram channel will receive 50% of the channel's advertising earnings. With the ability to choose which channels to use for their TON-powered advertisements, users may now advertise on their channels for very little Toncoin expenditure. In addition, channel owners are able to take their prizes out without any costs because withdrawal services will be available in the upcoming weeks on Telegram's Fragment exchange.
Only 10% of channels with over 1 trillion monthly views have been made profitable by Telegram advertisements, as CEO Pavel Durov of Telegram had hinted to on his personal channel. Durov was upbeat about the change, anticipating a cycle where content producers could use their Toncoins to improve their networks or cash them in. The low fees, fast transaction speeds, and record-breaking performance of 100,000 transactions per second during a test in November made the selection of the TON Blockchain justifiable.
