Real B*tches 022
The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley
a webcomic, by Matt S. Law
I could probably churn these panels out a lot faster if I would stop doing these dramatic perspective poses. Also, it doesn't quite look right. Serves me right for not importing a 3D model first to make the proportions right.
First rule of D&D adventuring. Alert the rest of the party to danger first! Sure, there may be a lot of false alarms from twigs snapping during the night watch. But losing some sleep is always preferable to losing a cleric and a paladin during the surprise round. I'm looking at you Throg the Barbarian.
Also, "vworp" is a fun sound effect. I think I will use that a lot more this chapter. Sheena is squeezing out some toothpaste, "vworp!"
Boilerplate:
The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley is a webcomic about a reality television show following the lives of seven public domain superheroines that all live together in the same mansion in the elite community of Hive Valley.

I'm loving the "VWORP" comic book sound effect. Can't wait to use it... seems ideal for when I have a D&D comic character teleport. Though I have NO idea when THAT will be. But hey, I've now got that onomatopoeia in my back pocket for future use. And I ALSO got to use the word "onomatopoeia", which is an even rarer occurence...
Sounds like someone needs to find a Cape of the Mountebank in the next treasure pile!
I'll definitely use it for Misty Step & Teleport, but the Cape of the Mountebank calls for something different. You see, since that cape Dimension-Doors oneself in puffs of smoke, if I didn't use "BAMF!" as the sound effect then the angry spirit of Nightcrawler would visit me at night and proceed to sieze and tear up my comic-book-nerd-card. 😉
