Painted Some Octopus Cornhole Boards

That is my mom and my niece at one end of the corn hole... field? Lane? court? I dunno, I just learned the rules.

For those of you not from the midwest US states, cornhole is basically throwing bean bags at a hole. My step dad wanted to make some corn hole... boards? goals? score boxes?

So, while I was visiting my mom's place for a week, I spent a couple days painting these. Also, he recently has been learning a lot about octopi...

My two nieces helped me paint a base coat first over a couple days.

Then did some underwater background.

First progress pic. I would have taken more progress pics but I didn't think of it... and my hands had paint all over them

For those of you that are digital artists, this is the "flat" layer. Much harder when you can't just hit Ctrl-Z to remove a screw up.

Let's get some shading and highlights on that cephalopod!

Then add two layers of clear cote on those bad boys.
