Never get involved in a land war in Asia. And never fight Aquarium the Lord of the Oceans in the water.

Never mind that he gets the Favored Environment edge which gives him a +1 bonus to attack rolls. But he also has area-effect mind control usable on all water-based animal life which accounts for about 3/4 of the animal life on Earth. Actually, it would probably be better to buy that as the Summoning power.

I'm still waiting for Mutants & Masterminds 4th edition to come out, then I will make character write-ups for the cast of Kickman. Starting with... the waitress from Mom's House of Pies! (PL 1, minion).

If Aquaman had summoned a kraken a few times during those old 'Super Friends' cartoons we grew up with, he wouldn't have seemed nearly so lame.

Sure everybody likes dolphins, but getting them to do your bidding as a superpower makes one more suited to working at SeaWorld instead of a superhero team...
