REMEMBERING OUR CHILDHOOD IN THE MIDST OF COFFEE // REFLECTION OF LIFE

A couple of weeks ago I shared with you with great joy how I had visited my first coffee shop with my husband, it was for the Christmas holidays in the middle of shopping and other errands.

Although our stop at that cafeteria was something without planning, I enjoyed it very much because we took advantage of resting a little in the middle of so many walks and while we waited for our order to arrive we remembered our childhood, around this time many memes began to circulate that said “ In a few days like these my parents had already bought me my 4 changes of clothes and new shoes.”

Despite being a fairly large family, consisting of 5 ladies and 2 gentlemen we never lacked shoes, clothes or food at any time of the year, with plenty of time in advance our parents bought us our clothes and accessories, it was a special time when we all went shopping and shared amid jokes and games a day of much walking, but as we were children we did not give it importance, or tired of going over and over again the same stores, if you know what I'm talking about right?

They are very nice memories that come to my mind with much nostalgia I commented to my husband, we were very happy and perhaps I could have valued it more, today that the world has turned around and we are already adults and we are in the shoes of parents, we realize the great sacrifice they made to sustain a home and provide all the basic needs and even an extra more.

In the case of my husband his family nucleus is smaller, they are 2 females and him, but his mother was practically the one who supported their home, because his father had health problems and this made it impossible for him to make physical efforts, with tears in his eyes he remembered the long days of work that his mother had to do to cover the expenses, it was not an easy road, but with care and dedication he managed to give them their university studies and take them to be professionals.

Definitely my mother-in-law and parents in general are a great example of life, hence we in the attempt to fulfill our role give everything for our children, so after taking our delicious cups of coffee, we decided to continue our shopping, because the energies had been renewed during the minutes we were there talking and in which we made a short trip to childhood and served as a basis for reflection in the process.

I thank you in advance for dedicating part of your valuable time to read my work and may God multiply the support you give to my publication. Blessings.
