RULESET: BORN AGAIN

Description: All Monsters have the Rebirth ability.

Info: All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self resurrect once.

The Battle

Battle Rulesets	Description	Info
MELEE MAYHEM	Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position.	If you have melee monsters in the back-line with Sneak or Opportunity, those abilities take precedence. Select a summoner that increases melee attack or a summoner that reduces melee attack of enemies + a tank with Shield. Thorns, Inspire, Blast, and Retaliate help in this ruleset.
BORN AGAIN	All Monsters have the Rebirth ability.	All units receive the Rebirth ability which allows them to self resurrect once.
FOG OF WAR	Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity abilities.	A good tank and a balanced lineup of Magic and Ranged monsters is the trick to win in this ruleset. Keep your monsters in ascending order of their HP.

Lineup

It was a gold-level modern tournament game with fog of war, but melee mayhem. This was not important for my strategy, because I focused on the weekly ruleset: Born Again

Card	Strategy
	Immortalis - Immortalis has 3 good abilities, -1 health is always useful, and the void ability was the key in this game, but Shatter was also useful.
	Fungus Flinger - Put it to the front, to boost up my next monster.
	Regal Peryton - Very speedy magic monster, with fungus finger it became unstoppable, this was one of the keys in my victory.
	Queen Mycelia - The best Earth support monster in the modern league, the armor was the best.
	Goblin Psychic - They are a defensive duo with Immortalis (Void + Silence), enemy magic monsters became useless because they attacked with 0 strength.
	Doctor Blight - The doctor is a camouflage monster, with a magic attack. The scavenger ability must have ability in this game.
	Venari Seedsmith - It has a good attack and, scavenger ability made it also very strong at the end of the game.

Battle - Replay

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes. Immortalis was the perfect choice for this game. My last 2 monsters become very strong at the end of the game. I think it was a good strategy, I won't change anything next time.

My winning percentage was 90%!

This was one of the best places in my tournament history (in the without Battle Helper era) +26 SPS

Which cards are good/bad for the BORN AGAIN ruleset? Why or why not?

As you can see in my battle, monsters with martyr ability are the best, but Scavenger is also a very deadly combination in this game type.
