Apparently eCash is a real project, still functioning with peer to peer transactions. But as for the Bitcoin Cash fork which named itself eCash, I don't know. Definitely late to the party and not knowledgeable of what came before them LOL

Hahahah that part is what I thought. The original might be real, but the newer one smells like meme-coin. It feels that way because they tend to ride on the back of something else. Sometimes it does work but mostly not
I understand what your saying, and I think you are correct.
There is saying; "...riding on the coat tails of another..."
It is like borrowing their fame and celebrity to build yours.
