My favorite music genre

My interpretation to music is that it's life, music puts me in a good mood, it's one of the things that brightens my day. most times when I'm down, listening to music puts me back on track.
I love music in general, however there are different genres of music like Rock, pop music, country music, rhythm and blues, jazz, hip hop music, soul music, raggae music, rock and roll and the likes. But amongst all these my best still remains Gospel music.

The kind of music I love listening to is Christian music also known as gospel music, it's mostly for Christians as it's about God and also about the Bible our manual.
Most times when I listen to gospel songs, I feel blessed, I'm a Christian and a church boy to the core, I don't go to clubs, I do church 100% instead.
Although I'm born into a Christian family which made Christianity more easier for me to practice, but then I also enjoy practising it. Despite all this, I still listen to other genres of music once in a while, I don't listen to it full time because I don't want it to corrupt me lol.

So I'm very selective when it comes to other kinds of music but when I was still very young, I could remember that my elder brothers love music too, they use to buy CD's and VCD's of some musicians, the likes of Akon, Lil Wayne, Ja rule, 2pac, Eminem, 50 - cent and the likes, I use to enjoy the rap, sometimes I write down the lyrics and keep practicing them like I want to go for a competition hehehe. It got to a time that my brother's friends name him Ja rule because of his great love for the artist. But I love lil Wayne and Eminem more, Lil Wayne because of his nature, the guy has a lot of vibes, no dulling moment with him and then I love Eminem because of his way of rap, he's very fast while rapping, I tried copying him most times, but I can't hehehe.

Likewise, I love some Nigerian artist like Olamide, Wizkid, etc... but the love us vastly reducing now due to my church mind. Olamide is so good anyways and even till now I still like his songs to some extent, just that I don't want get corrupted with the ungodly words and videos they make.
But talking about gospel music, it's something I can't do without, I must and will keep listening to it to the end of time. I'm a music person even though I'm not yet a professional but I love music to the core, to the point that before I can decide to start attending any church, I'll make sure that the church also loves music, the choir stand is one of my Interest areas whenever I enter a church for the first time.

Also as a chorister, I listen to music that stimulate my faith in God, songs that I can minister in church, songs that will help my prayer life and my spiritual life in general.
Song from music ministers like, Travis Greene, Don Moen, Hezekiah Walker, Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, Tim Godfrey, Moses Bliss, Theophilus Sunday, Sola Allyson, just to mention a few.
Gospel music is my thing and I can't even fake it, it's glaring even with checking my blogs.
