You are doing the right thing! I also want my only son to learn to do the household chores as a training ground for becoming a responsible person. I started it by teaching him how to tidy up the room and keep his toys after he plays. I'm glad he's doing well; he is 3 years old.

Children are like trees; while small and young, the crooked stems must be straightened so they will grow straight and well-postured.
