[EN/PT-BR] The love that didn't last forever was what taught me the most.

We know how complicated the issue of love is in our lives, many people have already found their soul mate, but some continue on this search and I remember what it was like for me, when it seemed like the more I tried, the worse it got. Everything went wrong, whenever I wanted something, that something didn't happen and it was complicated because we want that, we want to exchange love, give and receive the same from someone we like and love. But, it seems, we will encounter many wrong loves until we reach the right one.

I can say that the love that taught me the most was the one that didn't work out. It may seem strange to say this, but I usually say that mistakes make us learn a lot and the same goes for love, because the one that went wrong was the one that showed me how a person who doesn't really love you acts towards you. After it's all over, you start to connect the dots, understand the puzzle and realize that many of the things that happened there weren't because of a lack of time or because she was busy, it was because she really didn't want to do it with you.

Things kind of fall into place later, the attitudes, the words, the excuses, so these loves that go wrong seem to train us for something better, they make us realize that some things are fragile, decontextualized, that much of what happens is just disinterest. One of the things I learned from the wrong loves is how the person who is committed to you still wants to lead a single life, this is the icing on the cake where you realize that it is not truly love, just a passion, a bet on whether everything will work out or not.

So, after the experience comes, we understand how all of this helps us to perceive things better. Loving someone who didn't work out is actually good at a certain point, because you understand better how things work. For me, I suffered a lot with everything that went wrong, but there came a time (a little before I married my current wife) when I was simply fine, just living, working, trying to improve things. When I least expected it, she appeared and with that I realized it was the right time to invest in a relationship.

So, with that, I can say that the love that didn't last forever was the one that taught me the most. If you are going through something, some sadness or something like that, stay calm, all of this was a great learning experience for you.

Sabemos como é complicada a questão do amor em nossas vidas, muitas pessoas já encontraram a sua alma gêmea, mas alguns continuam por essa busca e eu lembro como foi comigo, quando parecia que quanto mais eu tentava, pior ficava. Tudo dava errado, sempre que desejava algo, esse algo não acontecia e era complicado porque queremos isso, queremos fazer essa troca de amor, dar e receber o mesmo de alguém de quem gostamos e amamos. Só que, ao que parece, encontraremos muitos amores errados até chegar ao certo.

Posso dizer que o amor que mais me ensinou foi aquele que não deu certo. Pode parecer estranho dizer isso, mas costumo dizer que os erros nos fazem aprender muita coisa e o mesmo serve para o amor, pois aquele em que deu errado foi o que me mostrou como uma pessoa que realmente não ama age com você. Depois que tudo termina, você começa a ligar os pontos, a entender o quebra-cabeça e percebe que muitas atitudes ali que aconteceram não foram por falta de tempo ou porque ela estava ocupada, foi porque ela realmente não queria fazer com você.

As coisas meio que se encaixam depois, as atitudes, as falas, as desculpas, então esses amores que dão errado parecem que nos treinam para algo melhor, eles nos fazem perceber que algumas coisas são frágeis, descontextualizadas, que muito do que acontece é somente desinteresse mesmo. Uma dessas coisas que aprendi com os amores errados é como a pessoa que está comprometida com você ainda quer levar uma vida de solteiro, isso é a cereja do bolo na qual você percebe que não é verdadeiramente amor, somente uma paixão, uma aposta se tudo vai dar certo ou não.

Então, depois que vem a experiência, a gente entende como tudo isso nos ajuda a perceber melhor as coisas. Amar alguém que não deu certo, na verdade, é bom em um dado momento, porque você entende melhor como funciona as coisas. Para mim, sofri bastante com tudo que deu errado, mas chegou uma época (um pouco antes de me casar com a minha atual esposa) em que fiquei simplesmente de boa, somente vivendo, trabalhando, buscando melhorar as coisas. Quando menos esperava, ela apareceu e com isso percebi ser o momento correto para investir em um relacionamento.

Então, com isso, posso dizer que o amor que não durou para sempre foi o que mais me ensinou. Se você está passando por algo, por alguma tristeza ou coisa do tipo, tenha calma, tudo isso foi um grande aprendizado para você.
