Every day is a new day to learn something. With this market moment, I learned that you need to be prepared, even if you've been in the crypto universe for almost 5 years, all the preparation is still not enough. I can say this because I felt I missed better opportunities to make a profit.
I'm happy with my profile status here in the community. I think I'm already somewhat known by my close friends on Hive, even though it's all virtual. Many have become bosom friends, people I enjoy talking to, exchanging ideas with, and asking for advice on everything, whether it's about my personal life, professional life, or anything related to crypto.
And the feeling I've had is that I should have made a little more profit from the Hive returns, and that's far from being a regret about putting so much weight into staking. Quite the opposite, I like accumulating Hive Power because I know it increases my influence and allows me to help my friends here with a more powerful vote, thus valuing their content.

So, for that reason, seeing the current scenario, I think I should have withdrawn a little more from Hive, taking advantage of 2025 when its value was still higher. This way, even with the low value, I withdraw more frequently, trying to balance increasing my HP and pocketing some money.
All of this just shows the importance of diversification, something I haven't done with such excellence. My main assets have always been Hive and HBD, and it was only at the end of 2025 that I started buying BTC (I remember buying around 100k, 120k), so this moment shows how we should try to have secondary plans, alternatives so as not to lose everything, in case something we believe in unfortunately comes to an end.
In my case, I started exchanging Hive for stablecoin and put it on my Kast card. I know it's not one of the safest options at the moment, but at least this resource is something I'm already accumulating, believing in the stability of a stablecoin, which in my case I've chosen USDC as my preference, and besides that, I've actually been using this money to pay bills or buy routine necessity items.
UnsplashI continue investing in BTC, every week I try to buy something, even if it's just $1, because for me this low value is an opportunity for everyone who hasn't yet had opportunities in the crypto universe. I had stopped playing games that pay in Sats, but with this drop I was encouraged to try to earn something more to accumulate. Therefore, I returned to some games that are part of the ZBD ecosystem.
Finally, I'm also taking some money out of Hive to invest in real estate funds and fiat currency investments. Even though the Brazilian Real (R$) is a champion at devaluation, I need something solid and consistent. So, if tomorrow there's no more Hive or cryptocurrencies, at least I need something to cushion the blow. It would be a huge disappointment and pain to invest so much time and end up empty-handed; that would certainly be very sad.
With that, we conclude that it's necessary to have more than just a plan A or B, right? What are your plans? Feel free to share them with us!

E o sentimento que tenho tido é que deveria ter feito um pouco mais de lucro com o retorno da Hive e isso está longe de ser um arrependimento por colocar tanto peso em stake, muito pelo contrário, gosto de acumular Hive Power, pois sei que isso aumenta a minha influência e posso de certa forma ajudar meus amigos por aqui, com um voto mais poderoso e assim valorizando o seu conteúdo.

Tudo isso só mostra a importância de diversificar, algo que não fiz com tanta excelência. Meus ativos principais sempre foram Hive e HBD e somente no final de 2025 que comecei a comprar BTC (Lembro que ainda comprei por volta de 100k, 120k), então, esse momento mostra como devemos tentar ter planos secundários, alternativas para não perder tudo, caso algo que acreditamos infelizmente chegue ao fim.
No meu caso, comecei a trocar Hive por stablecoin e coloquei no meu cartão Kast. Sei que não é uma das opções mais seguras do momento, mas pelo menos esse recurso é algo que já estou acumulando, acreditando na estabilidade de uma stablecoin, que no caso tenho escolhido como preferência USDC e, além disso, tenho realmente usado esse dinheiro para pagar contas ou comprar itens rotineiros de precisão.

Por mais que o Real (R$), moeda brasileira, seja campeã em desvalorização, preciso ter algo que seja sólido, consistente, então, se amanhã não houver mais Hive, ou criptos, pelo menos preciso ter algo para segurar as pontas para mim. Seria uma grande desilusão e dor, investir tanto tempo e no fim, bem… sair de mãos vazias, isso com certeza seria algo bem triste.

But lucky you, i hope you get your BTC . I collected my hive coins cent by cent for 8 + years , but when the summer of 2025 came, I no longer had any value 💁♂️ It doesn't matter if I keep them on crypto exchange page or under HP, they just have no value anymore. . It's a very funny to see Hive world been sold to end . It's strange also to see where people are still asked to play the long game, but this where the fun starts and all be taken away from us in a slow mode 💁♂️💁♂️
For to infest, I strongly recommend XMR and BTC 👌👌👌 very good just take it up . But I strongly recommend staying away from Hive 🤮🤮 ... if you don't want to lose all your coins .

Well, I understand how frustrating it is to build something for eight years and suddenly see it all go down the drain. That's how I feel, but it's not too late.
Since I joined Hive in 2021, some people have been telling me to sell half of everything, but I held on, whether in HP or HBD. Now, however, I can no longer do that, for fear that the price will fall further. I think I've built a nice history here, and I can withdraw part of what I earn without fear of judgment.
Balance is always the key, so taking a little and reinvesting the rest will work!
Love the clear breakdown —plans A/B/C/D is exactly the mindset that separates survivors from the ones who get wrecked in crypto.
A: steady grind(daily quests, curation, staking)
B:backup when A slows(diversify to LEO/ACE/HBD)
C: emergency pivot (cut losses, rotate to BTC/ETH if bear hits hard)
D: nuclear option (cash out,wait for next cycle)

Haha, I think I'm already on plan D or E because things got ugly. I should have withdrawn more and invested in other things, but deep down I don't regret it. I believe we will come out of this better and stronger.

This is the first time I've experienced this here on Hive. While I've only been in this ecosystem for about two years, I've been in the cryptocurrency world for almost five years. So it's not the first time I've experienced a bear season, but this time I feel like I can weather it a bit thanks to what I've achieved at Hive.
Regarding the issue of diversification, it is ironic that, when I started on Hive, I already had alternative sources of income from other projects or Web3 sites where I had been actively creating content for some time. However, it was starting at Hive and seeing how every site I was involved with closed down, stopped paying, or became impossible to sustain.
In the end, I was left with only Hive as a means of income and, well, here we are. I really hope the price holds this time, just like it has before, because lately I've been trying to find alternatives and testing things, and it's been very difficult. So I totally agree with you that it's necessary to have more than one or two plans. And it's not good to leave things until the last minute either. 😅
What you said is absolutely true, in terms of ease of doing something and being rewarded, in this case monetization, I only found Hive too. I'm always trying out other things, whether networks or games, starting for free and getting somewhere like I did here on Hive, but so far it's zero, it doesn't really exist.
I'm trying to find more things, more places. I started with gomining, ZBD games, trying to earn sats with games and apps, putting stablecoins on my KAST card. In short, I'm always looking for more options so I don't have to be so dependent on Hive.
Yes... It's hard to find something as stable and rewarding as Hive currently is. But hey, we have to keep searching because the world of cryptocurrencies is much bigger than one imagines. I was researching Web3 social networks similar to Hive and came across many projects. Unfortunately, due to my location and lack of resources, I was unable to test the ones that are supposedly still working. Others that I have been able to try are paid or don't offer anything for free.
I also tried the games you mentioned and the Satoshi mining platforms, but ZBD isn't available here in my country either. In short, this is what I meant when I spoke of obstacles, complications, or limitations in finding an alternative to Hive.
What remains for me is to seek that diversification within the same Hive ecosystem: videos, games, projects, etc.

Everyone has different plans, while i never tried to convert Hive into USDC as a stable coin as i keep them in Hive.... Also i never tried to buy BTC because maybe i think I can't do big investment.... Maybe you remember the day when we talked in a comment about BTC it was 82k$ now it's at 65k $. I don't know how much you lose in your investment.
Still i don't think to buy BTC while i try to buy Hive at 8, 9 and 10 cents but for 7 cents i don't have for even investment lol 😆 i know it's funny 🤣
Your plans are also good that we should have more plans but still my plans to keep things as it is now but focus on Hive 🙂 as we stopped getting HBD so obviously HBD savings for a while 😂

Well, regarding BTC, now is the best time to buy because the value has dropped significantly, so it's a matter of trying to buy and hoping it will rise in the future. As I mentioned, I bought when 1 BTC = $120k, so if you look at my portfolio, it has lost value, but it's also a good time to buy and accumulate more.
In the future, if it goes up, it's profit; if it doesn't go up, then I'm screwed, haha, but that's the right thing to do. I'm still trying to find other things to do that go beyond Hive, but it's hard to find something that fits, haha, but I want to keep trying and who knows, maybe I'll find something.
