Holidays are usually a good relief from our busy lives, whether as a worker or a student, we know how having a break in the middle of the week is regenerative in terms of energy and breath to continue later with more demands and things for work. It turns out that we could have a very special holiday for everyone to enjoy, a holiday in a new format that would change people's lives.
Just like some countries that are already testing the 3-day weekend, in which the worker carries out his activities from Monday to Thursday, during business hours, and on Friday, Saturday and Sunday he is completely free to enjoy, rest or continue his work. other projects and without reducing your salary, we could create a new holiday that would be something really cool in my opinion, something that is really lacking nowadays.
I would call this holiday family day or it could be something like “golden day” and the coolest thing of all is that it would be a frequent holiday, that is, it wouldn't just be once a year, as I said , it would be a very different idea and one that could greatly change people’s lives. Initially I thought of it as a worldwide and monthly holiday, that's right, one holiday per month! Total madness and the bosses going crazy, but it would be something like that, a special day so everyone could spend time with their families and enjoy the moments better.

This holiday would be something where there would be no classes in primary schools, high schools or colleges and workers would also be released from their jobs. The idea would really be to force people to have a day off on the last Friday of each month, where everyone is probably already tired, so they would have this “golden day” to be able to rest and make the most of their family.
The name “family holiday” or “golden holiday”, can be easily changed to other names, such as “friendship holiday” or “good neighbor holiday”, that would be really interesting, wouldn’t it? The central idea is precisely this, to ensure that everyone can make the most of this day, to recharge their energy, spending it with the people they love and thus dispelling all the tiredness and difficulties of a whole month of work. Many holidays are enjoyed by children, so adults close to these children still have to work and stay away from them.
I completely understand that adult life is about work, about obtaining resources and providing support for your family or even yourself, but in my opinion, rest is as necessary as work, if we could still enjoy a day like this, special, every month with our family, friends, in other words, whoever is important to us, I truly believe that the employee would work more excitedly and as a result, their ability to produce more would certainly be improved. A happy worker is a worker who produces more!

Feriados costumam ser um bom alívio para a nossa vida corrida, seja como um trabalhador ou estudante, sabemos como ter uma folga no meio da semana é regenerador na questão de energia e folego para continuar depois com mais demandas e coisas para o trabalho. Acontece que poderíamos ter um feriado bem especial para que todos pudessem aproveitar, um feriado em novo formato que mudaria a vida das pessoas.
Assim como alguns países que já testam o final de semana de 3 dias, no qual o trabalhador realiza suas atividades de segunda a quinta, em horário comercial, e a sexta, sábado e domingo ele fica inteiramente livre para aproveitar, descansar ou dar continuidade em outros projetos e sem redução do seu salário, poderíamos criar um novo feriado que seria algo bem legal na minha opinião, algo que realmente está em falta atualmente.
Eu chamaria esse feriado de dia da família ou poderia ser algo como “dia de ouro” e o mais legal de tudo é que seria um feriado frequente, ou seja, não seria apenas uma vez ao ano, como disse, seria uma ideia bem diferente e que poderia mudar e muito a vida das pessoas. Inicialmente pensei nele como sendo um feriado mundial e mensal, isso mesmo, um feriado por mês! Loucura total e os patrões pirando, mas seria algo desse tipo, um dia especial para que todos pudessem ficar com suas famílias e aproveitar melhor os momentos.

Esse feriado seria algo onde não haveria aulas em escolas primarias, colegiais ou faculdades e os trabalhadores também seriam dispensados de seus trabalhos. A ideia seria realmente forçar as pessoas de terem uma folga na última sexta de cada mês, aonde provavelmente todos já estão cansados, então teriam esse “dia de ouro” para poder descansar e aproveitar ao máximo a sua família.
O nome de “feriado da família” ou “feriado de ouro”, pode ser mudado tranquilamente para outros nomes, como “feriado da amizade” ou “feriado da boa vizinhança”, seria bem interessante não? A ideia central é justamente essa, fazer com que todos pudessem aproveitar ao máximo esse dia, para recarregar suas energias, passando com as pessoas que ele ama e assim, dissipando todo o cansaço e dificuldades de um mês inteiro de trabalho. Muitos feriados são aproveitados apelas pelas crianças, então os adultos próximos dessas crianças ainda tem que se virar para trabalhar e ficar longe delas.
Entendo perfeitamente que a vida de adulto é trabalho, é conseguir recursos e prover sustento para sua família ou até mesmo para si próprio, mas na minha opinião, o descanso é tão necessário quanto o trabalho, se ainda pudéssemos aproveitar um dia assim, especial, todo mês com a nossa família, amigos, ou seja, lá quem for importante para nós, eu acredito fielmente que o funcionário até trabalharia mais animado e com isso, sua capacidade de produzir mais com certeza seria melhorada. Trabalhador feliz é um trabalhador que rende mais!

That would be nice. Especially if ot holds at the last Friday of each month. Maybe families would assemble to enjoy each other's company is as well as talk about everything they'd been through throughout the month and also make collective plans for the new month. Same could be applied to friends or whoever - depending on what tag the holiday takes. I like this one.

Any country can't afford more holidays. I like your idea for family holiday, friendship holiday etc as golden day but it will disturb every second factory where workers need to work consistently. Those countries in which 3 day weekend is implemented are lucky, we are away from this concept because we have only two day holidays..
I understand that an extra day in the month for the worker to rest would result in great harm to the place where he works, if we think that there would be 12 more days of rest in the year, it seems not to be such a bad thing, but it depends on the what each place does or the industry it follows, then it really is a complicated matter.
Regarding the 4-day week, I believe that this is more tangible, as there are several places that are already testing this and it seems that it really works, so it may be that in the future this could even be implemented en masse in the future. I hope that happens 😂
Your idea is not bad at all. Family holiday will be a wonderful moment for workers, especially those that does shifting work to bound properly with their family members.
It would be great to have an extra day a month to spend with our families. I believe this would be very good for both sides. After all, the company where we work wouldn't lose out in terms of days, as it would only be one day a month and a total of 12 days a year, and for the worker, the simple fact of being close to their family would help them recharge their batteries and, when they return to work, they would certainly be more productive at their workplace.

I totally agree with that idea! I've always thought productivity comes better out of motivation rather than necessity. Time to rest or enjoy our family, friends, or any other stuff that provides satisfaction is important to recharge. It's true we, sometimes, we lose ourselves into work and the attempt to provide more and better our loved ones and that ussually gets us away of those enjoyable moments with our childrens, those peacefulness times in which we stop and get some relaxation. The Woodcutter has to stop from time to time to get the axe sharpened and the arms rested in order to cut more and better. Greetings.
