MY INTRODUCTORY POST: How Motherhood Changed My Life- My Journey of Transformation

Hi, I'm Sheila Marie Doliente, but feel free to call me @sheiladoliente23. I'm new here and excited to explore this awesome platform. I'm excited to have you visit my online space. I will soon have many more stories to share about my daily life.

I became a mom at 25 and gave birth to my beautiful daughter on May 8, 2024. Her name is Kyryn Doris. Kryn means “gift from God” and Doris is from her “grandmother's name”. My husband and I were so happy when she came into our lives.

The biggest change in my life is taking on responsibility for my family. Before I became a mom, I focused on myself and my goals. But when I first held my baby, everything changed. I realized someone was depending on me. Every decision I made impacted her life and taking care of her became my top priority. It wasn’t just about me anymore—it was about giving my baby the best life. That’s why I resigned from my job as a supervisor and chose to work from home as an ESL teacher, so I could take care of my baby while still being able to work.

Becoming a mom brought out new feelings I had never experienced before. The love I felt for my child was deep and overwhelming. Sometimes, I would look at my baby and feel so much love that I’d cry. But, like all moms know, that love comes with challenges too. Sleepless nights, stress, and worrying if I was doing things right were hard. But watching my child grow, smiling, and calling me "ma-ma" made it all worth it.

This is my Family .Now my baby is 9 months old and becoming a mom has changed me in many ways. It has given me a new purpose, made me more open with my feelings, helped me think in new ways, and changed how I see life. While being a mom has its challenges, the rewards are worth it. Motherhood has transformed me, and I’m always learning and growing through this amazing journey.

I recently came across a post about this platform on social media and decided to give it a try, even though I wasn't very familiar with it. I figured it was a great opportunity to explore something new and see what it has to offer. A huge thank you to @antonette for introducing me to this platform and taking the time to show me where I can share my daily blogs. Your guidance has been invaluable, and I truly appreciate it.
I’m really excited to dive into this platform and discover all the possibilities it holds. I’m eager to see how it can help me grow both personally and professionally, and I’m optimistic that it will open up new opportunities for me.
