What A Nutty Squirrel
Introduction
Hope you all have been having a great Sunday. It's been a while since I covered cards. Today, I want to cover the upcoming summoner, Risqruel Drath which is available in the conflict airdrop.
Risqruel Drath
I'm really liking this summoner. The art looks sick. As for what's on the card, the first thing that comes to my mind is the earthquake and going the distance ruleset. I think the insane part is the left side of the skills which is give two untis impede and true aim. The new skill, Impede, gives a debuff of -1 speed after each successful attack. With true aim, how can the attack not be a successful attack. I'm still not sure if it procs with blast but I would love to see that interaction. I still think true aim is one of the most broken skills in this game and we saw it first hand with Kitty. Now this isn't as strong as kitty but this could be the new kitty of modern.
I genuinely think this is a solid meta card for modern ranked. There's a lot of new strategies that can be played since fire and earth units have some great ranged units. It's nice to see a summoner in modern that gives flying as well. I'm really looking forward to playing with this card and I might just get one maxxed out if it's cheap enough.
Looking at Potential Lineups
I'm thinking of a lineup with ranged units for the going the distance ruleset. It's a bit hard to see but I underlined some cards in red that would probably go well with this summoner. Ash Mirage is a must since it has headwinds to reduce ranged attacks. With the flying and speed buff from supply runner and countess sinash this could be a formidable lineup.
As for the earthquake ruleset, I think there's many different new lineups that can be done. Fire doesn't really have any tank healers so maybe there can be some sort of new lineup where we see some fire units with some support with triage and tank heal. Something that seems interesting is forgotten one with the impede and true aim. If it has true aim with the retaliate, I an see that being very strong because there can be a taunt with mycelic slipspawn to redirect the magic damage.

Looks like a good summoner. But I am happy with IMMORTALIS( it only costs 23.17 dollars at level 3? WTF? I think I paid way more than that...)
