Finally, I got to play in the Rise of The Champion Tournament which is one of the biggest Splinterlands tournament this year in celebration of Splinterlands 6 year anniversary. I will share my thoughts on this event!

The deadline is closing for the submission for Splinterlands social media challenge so I will update in my post tomorrow on my end result. Currently, I'm 28th place as of writing this post with all my battles completed. I feel I have done really well in this tournament with a 74% winrate. There were 703 people registered in this tournament so I am like in the top 5% of the players. I did super good in the first round only dropping 3 losses I believe. I did want to make it to the top 10 but I think I'm still going to end up in the 11-47th prize pool spot which isn't bad since I will be getting 7k dec and 2 rebellion packs.

Personally, I enjoyed playing in this tournament. It was fun to play with cards I never played with before and it was interesting to try as well as see new strategies. I don't usually play wild but it's actually super fun with all the cards.

Since this tournament was super hyped, I think it's a mistake not to have it showcased on a stream. We should have people shoutcasting this game. This could've helped get us more attention in social media platforms. I believe since everyone was required to "KYC", I don't see the issue of possibly having people video themselves playing. My concern is that there were people piloting for other accounts KYC under the owner's name. Basically, the owner isn't playing but probably splitting the share with a strong player. This kind of ruins the fairness of the competition and there's really no way to prove this was done with the way the tournament was set up. I find this to be the biggest flaw because I might have actually lost to the same person in my games but I won't know it.
