Some Songs For End of July
I'm here for my three tune Tuesday. It's a bit late because I was busy. I found some new songs to share. As for a small real life update, I'm looking forward to playing at the new Tomaz pickleball court next Wednesday. The place looks really nice and it seems like they did it properly from the photos. They have 12 courts and even one court inside their pro shop which is insane. You can try out a paddle on the spot. I will most likely make a blog post on it. Without further ado, let's get to the three songs.
ติดเธอซะก่อน (Sweet Baby) - JAONAAY
This first song was recommended to me on YouTube. At first, I only understood the English parts of the song. I really liked the vibe of the song and it just sounded super catchy. I couldn't find any English translations for thi ssong but I used Chatgpt to give me an idea of the meaning of the song. The song is about a guy chasing after a girl and wants her to be his gf which in the song is referred to as sweet baby. I guess in the end it didn't happen which can be seen from the music video; the girl wasn't interested in him.
在月蝕裡抱緊我 Hold Me Close - 林俊傑 JJ Lin & A-Lin
Hold Me Close was another song recommended to me by YouTube. It's fairly new with JJ Lin and A-Lin collaborating on this one. JJ Lin is a popular Chinese singer and any person that listens to Chinese songs would instantly recognize his gentle voice. I feel combined with A-Lin's powerful voice they made a great combo for this song. Based on my interpretation of the lyrics, the song is about a person going through a tough time but they were able to get through it because of their partner.
The Shape of Rain - Rokudenashi
The last song is by Rokudenashi. I believe I featured her in a three tune Tuesday before. All her songs are catchy and give that anime feeling. The song is a love song about someone saying that it's ok if it's going to rain as long as they are with the person they love. If you're Japanese, maybe you can explain better in the comments on the meaning.
