Silenced
Introduction
It's been a chill Monday. I just got home from work and having chicken rice which I will blog about some time. As usual, I will be sharing my battle mage secrets and the theme for this week is silenced summoners.
My Strategy & Tips for Silenced Summoners
The only tip for this in my opinion is using a summoner with low cost. For those in wild, it's those two mana summoners that have no abilities anyways and for modern the lowest mana summoners are 4 cost. Other than this, the strategy can be anything depending on the other rulesets
The Battle
The battle link can be found here. I played this battle about a day ago on my scholar account. It was kind of cool because I played against another scholar which is also my friend @ak08 . He's also in my guild. It was a target practice, born again and silenced summoenrs ruleset with a 48 mana cap and only fire and water elements were available.
Discussing My Lineup
Summoner , Kelya - In this ruleset, there was only fire and water and water element cards are kind of better in my opinion hence Kelya was the best option.
First Position, Baakjira - I chose Baakjira to be my main tank. It has insane health and self heal which is great to keep it alive with void.
Second Position, Kulu Mastermind - I chose Kulu Mastermind for the opportunity as well as the weapons training. It gave my baakjira melee attack so it can attack.
Third Position, Angelic Mandarin - I chose Angelic mandarin for the silence and to triage my taunt unit in the back.
Fourth Position, Deeplurker - Deeplurker was one of my main DPS. It's ideally there to attack the backline units with my kulu mastermind.
Fifth Position, Swamp Spitter - I used this card for the armor repair but it's good against arkemis the bear since it has giant killer.
Last Position, Wavebrood - Wavebrood was my taunt tank. It was meant to soak up as much attacks as it could.
Analysis of The Battle
Unfortunately, I lost this battle. I think I blundered because of the born again ruleset. I should've gone with a martyr play and not using dr blight was also a bad choice. My opponent played well with the martyr and dr blight so I think that's the main difference. I think I should've taken out wavebrood and got arkemis the bear infront with another DPS in the back like supply runner or something for the speed.
