Mind Blank

Today, I had a fun filled day. I started out the day great by buying Olly's, an artisan ice cream, and had it delivered to my grandma's house. This was an ice cream that I found recently from a charity event last week where they gave free samples to try for all the guests. I like their focus on the essence of a single flavor. One of the flavors I bought sold out so they let me change the flavor and I didn't even to pay for the balance because the flavor I changed too cost a bit more. I found their business model to be great because they are more focused on supplying to F&B outlets with customized packages that suit the business as well as catering for events. I think it's a big brain move and kind of unique and they will do really well since their ice cream is the bomb.

After that, I went to an mission Q escape room with my cousin and boss. This was my second time experiencing with my cousin and this was a first time experience for my boss. We were able to clear the escape room in around 48 mins and the max time was like 1 hour. Unfortunately, we aren't allowed to bring phones in so I don't have any photos. During this escape room, I did make a fool of myself by closing one of the hatches. I wanted to test something but it ended up staying locked so I guess I learned my lesson to never close entrances/hatches when it's already opened in an escape room. We ended up having to call the help to get them to open it back. Other than that, we solved it without any hints because technically having them open back up the hatch wasn't really a hint.

Anyways, the focus for topic for this weekend is about making a fool of myself. I believe there are countless times in my life that I made a fool of myself. I think everyone has done this sometime in their life. Some people call it brain fart; I am more towards mind blank. Honestly, I can't recall every single time I've made a fool of myself but I will share some short stories. There were some times where I fell asleep in class when I was studying in University and I got called out on it by the lecturer. There was also one time when I was in high school during US history class where I asked the teacher if African Americans were black only to realize later on in the day how redundant and stupid the question was. I remember one of my friends in the class roasting me for asking that question. There were also times where I did stupid things such as wearing a shirt backwards etc.

I'm not the only one right. Do you have a similar experience or maybe a juicier story?

The ice cream is looking expensive! Too bad you weren't able to share photos from the escape room but I'll check it out online, I am curious about it!

I've done many stupid things too and I'm glad right now I can't remember them! Haha!

Hmm the pricing is a bit more towards the premium side since it's artisan but I think it's worth it haha. Ya you can try to check out online but I'm not sure if they have photos of the inside the rooms. It's basically like puzzles inside a room and maybe it goes to more rooms and you have to climb etc and get the way out of the room

Ya our mind probably doesn't really want to remember the stupid things we've done xD.

I like what you mention about their business model for the ice cream. Many ice cream shop operators often struggle to have people visiting. And this model certainly works better as it will have smaller overheads but bigger customer base, from all the existing F&B outlet

I think my brain is a little too slow for the adrenaline of escape rooms. 😅
