Lemon City
I'm a bit late for my three tune Tuesday and I haven't been posting as much as I used to but I will try to maintain the three tune Tuesday at least. Today, I want to share three songs from Lemon City. They are a Korean indie duo but the songs are in English. From what I saw on their Spotify, all their songs are love songs so this is just a heads up if you don't like love songs. I discovered them recently from the smart shuffle on Spotify and honestly, I find their songs to be calming and sweet.
Love is - Lemon City(레몬시티)
The first song I'm sharing is Love is. I believe this song is about two people that are in love with each other. The guy can see it in her eyes and he hopes to keep a smile on her face because it's always uplifting the mood of the surrounding. The guy doesn't want much. He just wants to be with her and will choose her every time.
What If I Told You - Lemon City(레몬시티)
This is another gentle love song by Lemon City. I believe this is another song where the guy found the love of his life. The guy is a lot happier now with her and the lyrics that describe this feeling is "the grass is much greener through your steps, and every breath. The guy seems to be crazy in love with the girl and I think he's ready to confess to her that he loves her or just to reaffirm her his feelings. It could also be about the guy finally ready to ask the girl out or maybe even marry her.
Hold me Kiss me Love me - Lemon City(레몬시티)
This was the song that got introduced to me through the smart shuffle which led me to discover all their other songs. The song is about someone finally finding their special person. It seemed so great that they compared the reality to a romance out of the movies. The special person seems to know the right things to say which can be inferred from the lyrics the words that leave your mouth are perfect". All in all, the person just hopes they can be with that special person for the rest of their life and hope she can hold him, kiss him and love him.
